Movie film has never been easy to watch.
Movie film breaks, kinks, flickers and overtime fades.
Repairing film without professional equipment is almost
impossible to do well. Projectors are difficult to load
and they jam easily. Replacement parts and projector lamps
are hard to find.
Now movies on DVD are as easy to watch as a Hollywood
DVD.
A to Z uses many techniques to provide a better
viewing experience. We transfer each reel of film one at a time while removing leaders and bad spots. We do not charge any extra for removing leaders and bad spots. We also adjust the pictures brightness and make any other adjustments necessary to give you the best viewing experience possible. The end result is a better home movie experience on DVD
than was ever available on a movie projector.
Most common 8mm and Super8 reels – 3" – can hold up to 50 feet of film, which is approximately 3-4 minutes of video.
There are larger reels as well:
5" - 200 feet of film;
6" - 300 feet;
7" - 400 feet;
8" - 600 feet;
9 3/4" - 800 feet;
10 1/2" - 1200 feet.
